Industrial Engineer

Seeking an Industrial Engineer!

Job Description

• An Industrial Engineer is responsible for recommending methods to enhance worker efficiency and reduce waste by restructuring job duties, reorganizing workflow, and relocating workstations and equipment within a manufacturing setting.

• Key responsibilities include interpreting and communicating production scrap, labor, and overtime OEE reports, promoting continuous improvement through measurable beyond production reports and goal charts, establishing and maintaining manufacturing rates, reviewing labor history reports for process improvements, creating and maintaining capacity models, and liaising with commercial, sales, and engineering teams for new product launches.

• Additional duties involve creating flowcharts, work instructions, and customer-specific documents, working indirectly with the Design group on DFEMAs, understanding customer packaging design requirements, and collaborating directly with packaging suppliers.
