Location: BOSTON MA US Security Clearance: None Description Leidos seeks an Industrial Energy Adviser to both market and support energy-efficiency projects with large industrial businesses in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island areas.
This exciting position offers a very unique career opportunity for a dynamic person with excellent outreach, sales, communication and organizational skills to promote energy efficiency projects to large industrial customers.
The person in this position will broadly market Energy Efficiency programs to large industrial customers and will require the ability to identify efficiency opportunities, as well as the technical ability to calculate energy savings, maintain customer relationships, and deliver presentations.
The candidate should have basic general knowledge of building systems, industrial systems, construction practices, and/or the energy efficiency industry.
Must be highly motivated, well organized, self-starting, have strong written and verbal communication skills, and work well in a team setting.
Experience as an Industrial Energy Manager is desired

Job Responsibilities:
Performing energy saving calculations related to the operation of different types of energy using systems within the industrial and commercial markets with a strong emphasis on lighting systems.

Identify efficiency opportunities while having the initiative and interest in keeping up-to-date on energy efficiency technologies Communicate technical issues across the project team Provide and present technical advisement to clients regarding the design, procurement and installation of energy efficient equipment Advise clients on processes that ensure continuous demand-reduction.
Qualifications Typically requires Bachelors of Science or Engineering degree and 12-15+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10-13+ years of prior relevant experience.

The ability and desire to be: productive, accurate, organized and Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Strong analytical and statistical knowledge and skills using Excel Ability learn proprietary energy management systems This position requires a valid drivers license and physical ability to perform field verification of pre and post installation of energy efficiency measures.

Ability to be self-starting demonstrate initiative---including the ability to collaborate well in a supportive team environment.

The individual will be responsible for providing counsel on regulatory and compliance requirements, creating policies and procedures, and assisting with the SEC 206(4)-7 compliance program while demonstrating superior work ethic, relationship management skills, regulatory knowledge, and a commitment to Fidelity's values and high quality assurance standards. The Expertise We're Looking For * 10 years of Compliance, Risk, and/or Regulatory experience in the financial services industry * 8 years of investment adviser compliance or investment adviser regulatory experience * Deep knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, SEC regulations, No-Action Letters, and Enforcement Actions * Experience in understanding and implementing processes, controls, and / or supervision or compliance activities relating to new / changed financial services regulations * Experience in implementing processes, controls, governance, and / or supervision / compliance activities for new / changing business models, services/products, and / or technologies The Purpose of Your Role You will be part of a team responsible for supporting a large investment adviser creating policies, procedures, and controls to help ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations. You will have responsibility for compliance review of advisory products, services, tools, and methodology including identification of associated conflicts, compliance with fiduciary obligations, recordkeeping requirements, performance reporting, etc. You will develop and implement an effective 206(4)-7 compliance program which may include due diligence, testing, and monitoring. You must have the ability to quickly adapt to changes in regulations, organizational structure, technology, processes, products, and services and will have the ability to effectively collaborate with business and control function partners, such as compliance, legal, risk and audit. You will also be responsible for other key areas of investment adviser support as needed including resolution of errors, service recoveries, sales practice and supervision support, etc. You will draft and update compliance policies and procedures, create and execute testing and reviews, and develop/deliver training. You will travel between Boston, MA and Smithfield, RI locations as needed. Your guidance on the regulatory requirements and how to practically implement those requirements specific into processes, controls, and supervision activities will help strengthen the Fidelity Institutional control environment. You will help enable Fidelity Institutional growth by collaborating with dedicated professionals and provide guidance associated with applicable regulatory requirements and / or expectations for developing new products, services, solutions, and tools for our clients.
