Industrial Electrician

Electricians are responsible for the electrical integration of the power distribution building. This is accomplished by installing and assembling electrical wiring and components in accordance with engineered designs and drawings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install switchgear and other electrical components.

• Installs wiring, electrical fixtures and control equipment such as relays, and circuit breaker panels.

• Installs lighting panels and switches.

• Bends conduit

• Reads/Interprets designs and drawings.

• Recognize and report hazards/ Apply safe work methods.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or GED is preferred.

• 3 years of related experience is preferred.

• Qualified candidates should have thorough knowledge of the NEC 70

• Knowledge of effective use of proper lock out/tag out equipment.

• Ability to use basic hand tools, power tools, tape measure, grinders and saws.

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.

• Must be able to read and interpret written and/or oral instructions.
