Basic Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older
Three (3) years of experience as a Journeyman in the electrical field is required.
On the job training provided.
Must possess a valid, unexpired driver's license.
Must possess journeyman electrician's license in the state, county or city jurisdiction in which work will be performed. Preferred Qualifications: - Five (5) years of experience as an electrician is required
Journeyman electrician over 3 years experience is preferred
Prior experience as electrician in an industrial or commercial setting is preferred. Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment on-site
Perform electrical installations of a commercial nature
Plan layout and installation of electrical equipment, conduit, wiring and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes
Install electrical conduit, equipment, fixtures or wiring in floors, walls and ceilings
Install, inspect and test electrical systems
Perform installations which include but are not limited to panel boards, conduits, lay-in fixtures, wall packs, exit signs, light fixtures, disconnects, breakers, power distribution equipment and power supply wiring
Refer to labels, job site maps, instruction manuals, and written instructions to accurately to perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards
Report work orders, scheduled jobs and work progress to a foreperson
