Bevi is a Series B startup bringing customizable, healthy hydration to offices and facilities across the US and Canada. Founded in 2013, our co-founders set out to out-design bottled water. Within five years time, Bevi has saved the waste generated by over 45 million plastic bottles and seen revenue grow by 50x over the past 2 years! With offices now in Boston, New York, and San Francisco, we continue to grow our healthy flavor offerings and constantly strive to bring the next level of customization to the Bevi hydration experience.

We are seeking a well-rounded Industrial Designer to join our Product Team. This person will be responsible for ensuring Bevi machines are easy and delightful to use, and have a high-tech but approachable look and feel across all stakeholders from drinkers to service technicians. They will work closely with engineering, product and other departments within Bevi to ensure we are continuously improving our machines.

  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or similar discipline.
  • 4+ years of experience within the product development field.
  • Interdisciplinary team experience, especially hardware and software engineering.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, driven to continuous improvement.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a history of problem solving, good design sense, sketching ability, form development, and user research techniques.
  • Experience creating polished UI/UX experiences across physical and digital mediums.
  • Skills in areas of consumer/user research and analysis, personas and customer journeys, ideation and brainstorming techniques, prototyping and concept validation.
  • Strong aesthetics, branding and graphic design skills.
  • Ability to understand and create userflows and think holistically about improving experiences across various touch points.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Solidworks experience is a plus.
