Working under direct supervision, this position is focused on providing high-quality service to our clients, which may include responding to claim service inquiries, including notice of claim along with accurate and timely handling of Annuity Death Claims while adhering to IRS, State, Legal and Compliance guidelines. Same day processing is required upon receipt of the final outstanding requirement.
Some of the responsibilities will include:
Reviewing Claim forms to be in good order
Providing timely and proper telephone and written follow up on outstanding requirements
Understand contracts and identify and confirm beneficiary/ies and make accurate payments
Work with Senior Claims Specialist-Annuity on complex claims
Your meticulous attention to detail
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
Ability to manage multiple priorities all with a positive attitude
Strong problem solving and math skills
Experience with Microsoft Office programs
Ability to work with multiple systems simultaneously

In addition to the above, you will also likely possess:
Associates Degree in Business Administration/Finance, related discipline, or equivalent work experience - Preferred
Familiarity with Mainframe and Legacy processing systems
Knowledge of Variable, Fixed Annuities & Single Premium Variable Life products
Knowledge of IRS Regulations
Knowledge of Securities Industry Regulations
