The Individual Giving Director position is a key development position and will have primary responsibility for planning, directing and managing the PRESGiving Employee Campaign as well as a heavy focus on mid-level gifts. This role is also essential in securing annual charitable contributions for the Presbyterian Robert Wertheim Hospice House and other important projects and programs supported by Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation. The role will manage a portfolio of individual prospects and donors to ensure their cultivation, solicitation and stewardship.

Bachelors degree required, 6 years of additional experience can be substituted in lieu of degree. Minimum of 3-5 year of direct fundraising experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required, 6 years of additional experience can be substituted in lieu of degree

  • Minimum of 3-5 year of direct fundraising experience

  • Knowledge of all major foundation functions

  • Proven track record in fundraising, including campaigns, and annual giving techniques and processes

  • Proficiency in MS Office programs

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills combined with an ability to prioritize demands

  • Excellent written communication skills

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, CRM management and complex data manipulation required

  • Highly Complex and Fast Paced

  • Must have own transportation

  • Ability to lift 25lbs. repeatedly

Education Essential: Bachelor Degree

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the VP-Foundation Annual Giving, the Individual Giving Director will focus on the planning and execution of the PRESGiving Employee Campaign as well as driving growth of mid-level donor contributions.

  • Actively manages a robust portfolio of donors and ensures timely cultivation, solicitation and stewardship activities.

  • Responsible for researching donor profiles, developing rapport with existing and potential donors to discuss giving options and deepening donor relationships through personal outreach.

  • Oversees the stewardship and solicitation of mid-level gifts by guiding the audience needs in messaging, creative, and segmentation for all campaigns.

  • Works with senior staff to achieve key cultivation and growth metrics using moves management strategies to continuously move donors toward higher giving ranges. Focuses on building a strong pipeline for major gifts giving.

  • Working in tandem with the Annual Campaign manager and major gifts team, the Individual Giving Director will take lead responsibility for securing gifts to satisfy the Foundation's $500,000 annual obligation to support operations for the Robert Wertheim Hospice House.

  • Directs all activities as related to the annual PRESGiving Employee Campaign, with annual revenues exceeding $2.6 million. This includes identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding employee base of more than 13,000. Conducts department solicitation presentations, facilitates campaign logistics and events, implements all stewardship tactics, and recruits and manages volunteers while providing them with leadership and direction in support of the cultivation and solicitation of donors and prospects.

  • Works in partnership with other Foundation staff on major gifts/leadership solicitations and system-wide fundraising initiatives.

  • Provides reports and information to key prospects and donors through stewardship events, newsletters, and mailings.
