RTN is the leading distributor of in store advertising in the United States. The company, founded in 1951, pioneered the register receipt advertising program, which is among the oldest nationally recognized in-store branding products.

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will create lasting advertising partnerships between Dollar General, Family Dollar and local businesses in the Nashville, TNarea. This is a 1099 position. A base salary and benefits are not available. The position can be full-time or part-time.

What is the Outside Sales Representative job like?

Representatives are assigned protected territories where theyre responsible for sharing our local advertising solution with local businesses.

This position is true outside sales. Each workday, you will present RTNs innovative branding opportunity to a variety of local businesses. Our sales model requires punctuality, organization, and daily work in the field. There is upward mobility.

We have a proven one-call one-close system, but weve been around long enough to know that this skill-set can be taught its something you can learn IF you have the Right Attitude and Drive!

Before beginning your new career, our extensive training program will have you selling advertising space and earning commissions in just 2 weeks or less even if you are new to the advertising industry.

The best part is; through good customer service and by building renewal clients within your territory you can continue to earn residual commissions long after you make the initial sale!

Each representative is assigned a protected territory where he or she will cultivate relationships between our retail partners and small business advertisers.

Our unlimited commission and bonus structure is why top performers can earn $100k per year.

Job Purpose/Job Summary The Regional Vice President National Accounts for the independent channel will be responsible for cultivating, growing, and managing strategic distribution relationships for Jackson. The job requires the ability to establish credibility and build rapport with clients at a national/home office level and to promote Jackson's product solutions. Working closely with the Senior Vice President, National Accounts, this person will seek out synergies and potential business opportunities that could further increase Jackson's sales and AUM with a focus on developing/expanding advisory relationships and embedding Jackson's capabilities. Activities will also include liaising with the sales, marketing, operations, compliance, IT, and product teams to execute initiatives that support Jackson's strategy, representing the organization at relevant outside conferences, and cultivating referral relationships within strategic distribution partners. Where applicable, the Relationship Manager will also be responsible for presenting JNLD's value-added services such as its marketing and field programs. Extensive travel is required. Responsibilities Include: * Developing enterprise-wide relationships with both the home office and field COIs that are essential for expanding product placement and driving sales; coordinate appropriate home office meetings with Jackson key personnel * Creating, building, and maintaining relationships with decision-makers and influencers at key firms * Develop deep knowledge of all partner's advisory and operational platforms, programs and product offerings, and management team dynamics * Display an in-depth knowledge of intermediary distribution, investment products, Jackson solutions, marketing, sales strategies and techniques, and account relationship management * Communicate distributor strategies as updates to the Jackson sales team in order to leverage these relationships and develop better traction with advisors * Responsible for rolling out new product with distributors, training schedules and marketing strategies * Develop, coordinate, and deliver product training to sales and service representatives of key distribution partners * Ability to position and differentiate our products against competitor firms and their products * Facilitate the distribution of information from Jackson to distribution partners * Negotiate financial arrangements and selling agreements in conjunction with the Senior Vice President, National Accounts and other senior leaders at Jackson * Coordinate all internal events for partners and actively participate in partner conferences and activities which will benefit Jackson * Identify client needs and opportunities, and respond effectively and in a timely manner; ability to develop relationships that are lasting and mutually beneficial Demonstrable Skills, Abilities, and Experience Include: * Proven ability to identify both near- and long-term client needs and to execute a sales and relationship management plan that achieves positive outcomes for clients and Jackson * Demonstrate enterprise leadership mindset by bringing together people, ideas, and businesses to drive planning and execution * Possess understanding of investment fundamentals (capital markets, principles of portfolio construction, etc); knowledge of mutual funds, variable annuities, retirement investment products preferred * Demonstrated success selling investment/asset management products * Strong prospecting, lead generation and relationship management skills * Strong business judgement, resource management, business development and negotiation skills * Display excellent presentation skills; verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills * Excellent listening skills as well as the ability to identify opportunities and suggest creative solutions * Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and organized; able to manage multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously Education and Experience Required * 10 years of experience within the financial services industry with a proven track record in advisor-sold investment product distribution * 5 years of sales and relationship management experience in the independent broker-dealer channel strongly preferred * Bachelor's Degree required Certifications, Licenses, Registrations Required * FINRA Series 6/7 and Series 63 * Relevant industry designations (CIMA, CFA, CFP) a plus Job Level that this position reports to (i.e., Supervisor, Manager, Director, etc.): * Senior Vice President Jackson National Life Insurance Co Inc Nashville TN
