About the role:
Rhone has recently invested in Golf with several multiple-year
partnerships including being the LPGA's first apparel partner as
the "Official On-Course Apparel Partner" among other brand
opportunities and is entering into an integrated marketing
partnership with PGA Magazine and additionally is a preferred
partner of Troon. We're looking for sales professionals located
in new and emerging markets to expand brand presence and
awareness. Individuals will be focused on maximizing the Golf
and Club business with both Men's and Women's by growing brand
presentation in top green grass accounts in assigned states.
What you'll do:
Target new business - identify top-tier green grass accounts in
the territory. Continue to grow with existing relationships.
Maintain current book of business - work market appointments,
order entry into NuOrder, in-season order management, manage
marketing requests, provide product knowledge for buyers and
sales teams.
Manage communication with all accounts, both new and existing;
initiate in-season opportunities while also managing to pre-book
expectations
Analyze sales at both wholesale and retail; Demonstrate a
strong understanding of market trends, competitor analysis and be
able to articulate product development opportunities for future
seasons.
Manage decoration requests with Decoration partner and in-house
designers.
Conduct regular store visits with events, assist with in-store
visual merchandising. Travel as needed to existing and
prospective accounts.
Attend all pertinent national and regional tradeshows.
Present opportunities for soft shops or fixtures in order to
create bigger brand moments and tournament opportunities.
What you'll bring:
5+ years working as a Sales Representative within the Golf/Cub
market
Established account base within territory, servicing a minimum
of 50 active accounts within the golf space
Membership of regional rep association in good standing
Strong communication skills - verbal, and interpersonal
Strong organization skills with attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively in person and through
email.
Strong sense of urgency and proactive mindset
Able to freely travel within territory
Able to stand for several hours and lift up to 30+ lbs if
needed.
