Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the highest quality urgent care services, including:

  • Physical examinations

  • Incisions and drainage

  • Splinting

  • Suturing

  • Managing infection and wound care

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree (MSN) and certification by one of the Nurse Practitioner certifying bodies (ANCC or AANP) as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)

  • 2 years of experience working independently as a Nurse Practitioner

  • Unrestricted DEA license

  • Must be CPR certified

  • Ability to obtain DOT certification within the first 60 days of employment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, retail care, primary care, or an ambulatory care setting

Qualifications / Requirements REQUIREMENTS: Successful completion of an accredited program for Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner. Incumbents must have a current, valid license as a Registered Nurse and be certified as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Nebraska. Required to maintain certification for the licensing by the State of Nebraska. PREFERRED: Psychiatric specialization/certification or clinical experience working with patients. Experience working as a Nurse Practitioner within a clinical setting or equivalent experience. Work experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a correctional or institutional setting.
