Job Summary
Corporate Incubation is the innovation engine for HP, creating and supporting new businesses for HP. We are looking for an experienced Product Leader to oversee the hardware and software development of our new and innovative products. This role requires a visionary leader who can manage cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and software developers, to deliver high-quality, market-leading products.
Responsibilities
Product Development:
Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation and design to prototyping, testing, and mass production.
Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of all product components.
Drive the development of SDKs that enable third-party developers to build on top of our hardware and software platforms.
Leadership and Strategy:
Develop and execute the overall product strategy for both hardware and software components, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and goals.
Lead and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
Define and prioritize product roadmaps, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term strategic objectives.
Provides mentorship and guidance to lower-level employees, thus, ensuring the realization of operational and strategic plans.
Stakeholder Management:
Engage with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, marketing, sales, and customer support teams, to ensure alignment and successful product launches.
Act as the primary point of contact for external partners and vendors, managing relationships and ensuring timely delivery of components and services
Quality and Performance:
Establish and maintain rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure products meet high standards of performance, reliability, and user experience.
Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, using data-driven insights to make informed decisions and continuous improvements.

Education & Experience Recommended
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in product management leading hardware and software teams, product design, or a related field.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $180,000-- $240,000 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
