Role Summary/Purpose
The Incoming Quality Control Inspection Technician performs incoming product inspection of raw components, verifying through good manufacturing/laboratory practices (GMP/GLP) that product meets specifications and is free of damage or defects.

Essential Responsibilities
Key responsibilities/essential functions include:

Completing daily paperwork for sampling incoming chemicals

Scan completed forms into Document retention systems.

Inspect, test, or measure materials and products for conformance to specifications

Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products.

Perform incoming inspection of items as needed

Verify conformance to specifications and protocols and report outcomes

Comply with EHS regulations & policies

Enter all data into computer software and complete all related paperwork

Self-motivated, can work with little supervision

Qualifications/Requirements
1.Associate Degree, some college, or 4 years working experience in Manufacturing or Laboratory
2.Ability to speak, understand, read, and write in local language
3.Can to lift 25 lbs.
4.Proficient with software applications Outlook, Microsoft word and Excel.

Quality Specific Goals:
1.Knowledge and understanding of acceptance activity requirements for incoming, in-process, and final inspection requirements (as associated with job type/position) to ensure that a device conforms to its specification and out of specification items are properly handled.
2.Knowledge and understanding of Stop Orders, Concessions, ESD, Calibration, Preventative Maintenance, Material Identification & Segregation, documentation configuration control practices; documentation & disposition of non-conforming material, and Good Documentation Practices requirements, as associated with this job type/position
3.Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
4.Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
5.Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
