The Income Property Banking Associate will be assisting the Relationship Bankers on the review, prescreen, letter of intent issuance, deal flow and process monitoring. The Associate will serve as the first level of review for incoming loan packages to determine if the opportunity fits the bank's criteria and target loan borrower types.
Complete the CIP Form and ACH Agreement and get together a financial package for all Guarantors, including current Rent Roll, Lease Agreement, 3 Yrs. Operating history, last 3 months bank/liquidity statements required to close, 3 year tax return and pay-off information.
Gather completed and signed Loan Application including Hazard Insurance Requirements, Current Financial Statement and Schedule of REO. Also gather completed Third Party Information Form.
Responsible for adherence to all compliance programs, including but not limited to, completion of all required and assigned training modules by established due dates.
Understand and comply with requirements of all laws and regulations applicable to position.
Analyze loan opportunities and complete prescreen memos for presentation to Senior Underwriters.
Determine sufficiency of loan packages and work with client on missing or needed information.
Prepare letters of intent, manage incoming executed letters of intent and deposit checks.
Complete proposed Organizational Chart for ownership structure with Entity Documents.
Begin preliminary title report and open escrow.
Complete the pricing form and document all waivers.
Obtain a copy of the current loan statement with the loan number and contact information on it.
Obtain Notice of Rights to receive a copy of the appraisal.
Assist the Underwriting and Credit team as loan proceeds through credit underwriting and formal approval.
Facilitate discussions with clients as to loan progress and additional information needed.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
Must have at least 2 years of work experience in real estate banking.
Must have both good written and oral communication skills.
