Job Summary

Under the direction of the Executive Director or Designee, the Inclusion Support Assistant provides support to students with special needs in the general education setting of independent study to ensure equitable access to the curriculum and the appropriate implementation of Special Education accommodations and modifications. The Inclusion Support Assistant assists the Education Specialist (ES) with modification and differentiation of instruction for students with special needs, works collaboratively with the PLT and Resource Center Facilitators and assists special education service providers in implementing instruction to students to meet the goals/objectives of each child's IEP.

Requirements / Qualifications

Three (3) Current Letters of Recommendation/References 4. Copies of Transcripts, Credentials, and Degrees Qualifications: Education/Experience/Certification: - Possession of a current Clear, Specialist, Multiple, or Single Subject

• California teaching credential, as required by the State of California and ESSA - Possession of a Special Education Credential is not necessary

• Experience in instructing students within independent study or a related field preferred

Comments and Other Information

$1,000 Master's Degree stipend, $2,000 Doctorate stipend, and health benefits available. Full-time benefit allotment of $1,500/month for medical, vision, and dental.
