Job Description

The Inclusion & Diversity Coordinator will help drive Cond Nast's inclusion & diversity initiatives within our global technology organization. This role will be responsible for coordinating various meetings, programs and events. The coordinator will assist in positioning, designing, and delivering on Inclusion & Diversity programs for the technology team, with a special focus on talent acquisition, employee engagement, and community building.

The Inclusion & Diversity Coordinator reports to the Director of Inclusion & Diversity and will also work closely with the Chief Technology Officer. This is an opportunity to join a newly created function and leverage your experience and expertise to drive a best-in-class I&D function.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify & implement sourcing strategies to build a diverse pipeline of talent

  • Identify colleges, universities and coding schools to engage under-represented student populations for recruiting pipelines; partner with Tech recruiting team on outreach

  • Research and advise on potential community partners and engagement opportunities; Maintain & update database of technology programs, organizations, conferences, & events.

  • Assist the Director of Inclusion & Diversity on designing and launching programs focused on building a culture of inclusion that drives our hiring, employee development, and retention strategies

  • Develop and execute programs and events including Affinity/Heritage Months, Community Dialogues, keynote speakers, etc.

  • Coordinate logistics for sponsored events (conferences, panels, speaking engagements); coordinate travel & sponsorship requirements

  • Develop inclusive content for social media

  • Stay abreast of industry topics and contribute to Inclusion & Diversity Newsletter

  • Correspond with the tech teams in our satellite offices around inclusive hiring and employee programming


  • 1 to 3 years of experience in program management and/or a background in a diversity & inclusion function

  • Demonstrated project management experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

  • Demonstrated analytical skills; experience tracking data, reporting, and providing metrics

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong computer skills with expertise in excel & powerpoint

  • Demonstrated skills and capabilities to collaborate with all levels of leadership including executives

  • Ability to handle confidential materials

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional nights and weekends
