Job Details


Oversees receiving or shipping functions. Assists in creating a strong work team and helps resolve employee relations issues.


  • Reviews current or future trends that indicate possible gaps in inbound or outbound functions and makes recommendations based on findings.

  • Participates on distribution center management team; develops action plans for conducting internal analyses and gap identification.

  • Conducts daily status meetings with management team to review prior day's performance and to develop action plan for current day.

  • Leads development of and communicates Productivity Improvement Plan for each performance indicator or area identified for improvement.

  • Conducts observations to identify areas for change; conducts analyses to develop action plans to address operational and employee gaps.

  • Leads inbound or outbound team in goals and measurement development and implementation.

  • Reviews the strategic goals of the inbound or outbound area and sets performance goals.

  • Monitors department budget on a monthly basis; assists in development of budget for inbound or outbound functions.

  • Conducts weekly staffing reviews with Operations Manager and Human Resources to determine appropriate staffing levels for inbound or outbound departments.

  • Communicates with company carrier regarding store loads and backhauls


  • Strong analytical and math skills; strong attention to detail.

  • Good (Strong) oral and written communication skills.

  • Understanding of human resource practices and OSHA and FDA regulations.

  • Proficiency in Excel and Word; experienced with general software applications.

  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management System functionality.

  • Planning and forecasting skills.

  • Team problem-solving skills.



  • Five years minimum experience in distribution, logistics and management.

  • Experience in warehouse management systems and RTS applications preferred.

  • Experience in automated retail distribution center preferred.

  • College degree in business.


  • Must be able to physically move throughout the distribution center to monitor the flow of merchandise.

  • Exposure to dust and noise.

  • Exposure to extreme heat and cold, including freezers, coolers and refrigerators for long periods of time.

Our area centers are all outpatient orthopedics but some offer specialty services such as dry needling, sports medicine, aquatic therapy and vestibular on top of general orthopedics. New licensed graduates or experienced PTA's welcome to apply! We are open from 7am until 6pm Mon - Fri with varying coverage needs during our hours of operation. Select Physical Therapy is part of the Select Medical Outpatient Division, a nationally prominent, locally driven provider of outpatient physical rehabilitation. We operate primarily as Select Physical Therapy, NovaCare Rehabilitation, Physiotherapy Associates, KORT, and Saco Bay Physical Therapy. Throughout the country, we also provide physical therapy and athletic training services to professional sports teams, colleges, universities and high schools and serve as the exclusive physical rehabilitation provider to several major U.S. corporations. #ACN Responsibilities * Implements, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures. * Develops treatment plans, supervises assistants and aides, contributes to case management, and provides quality patient care. * Maintains positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhances and expands client relations with facilities and their staff. * In states where permitted: document in charts using accepted medical terminology and format. Qualifications Required Credentials: * A valid state license (where applicable), registration or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant upon graduation from an approved curriculum for Physical Therapist Assistants, and having passed a national examination for Physical Therapist Assistants certified by the CAPTE. * State license and/or certification must be valid in the state in which the individual will practice. * at least 6 months Outpatient orthopedics experience (clinical experience qualifies) * Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification Physical Requirements: * Ability to lift patients using biomedical techniques frequently throughout the course of a work day/shift; must be capable of easily lifting fifty (50) pounds of weight alone. * Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a work day/shift. * Visual acuity (near and distant) sufficient to maintain accurate records, recognize people, and understand written direction. * Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions. * Ability to push wheeled equipment throughout the facility and in the community. * Fine motor skills adequate for scheduling and preparing patients, equipment, and supplies for treatment. * Ability to participate in sustained activities for many hours in duration in accordance with state labor laws.
