Currently looking for an Inbound Sales/Customer Service Representative to fill an opening with a company located in Aurora, IL. Interested candidates must hold a Bachelors or Associates degree in general business or a field which would support industrial sales or equivalent work experience and have a minimum 3 - 5 years experience in a customer service or inside sales role for industrial OEM or capital equipment provider with high volume of customer contact.
This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service. High volume interaction with customers via telephone and email providing accurate information in response to customer inquiries, entering orders accurately and timely according to pre-established procedures, expediting orders when necessary, following up on quotes to convert to orders, lead generation, and developing strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities of the Inbound Sales/Customer Service Representative:
Prepares parts order quotes and confirms delivery dates according to pre-determined internal processes for existing and new customers. Follows up on quotes.
Understands and takes immediate action to prioritize workflow in order to support and satisfy customers in urgent situations (i.e. line down) notifying and engaging appropriate internal personnel for assistance.
Collaboratively works with purchasing, shipping, manufacturing, accounting, sales, and engineering to maximize opportunities and generate sales.
Investigates and resolves complex customer issues related to parts and services.
Focuses on continuous improvement and efficiency by making recommendations that streamline quote to order process.
Requirements of the Inbound Sales/Customer Service Representative:
BS/BA in general business or a field which would support industrial sales or equivalent work experience
Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in a customer service or inside sales role for industrial OEM or capital equipment provider with high volume of customer contact.
Ability to support a very high volume of customer contact/customer questions in a fast paced environment.
Ability to interact successfully with customers ensuring that customers have a positive experience with the Company.
Ability to read mechanical drawings; the additional ability to read electrical schematics is desired.
Ability to collaborate with internal and external customers in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.

Prior experience / familiarity with shipping terminology, purchase orders, and the sales process.
