Inbound Coordinator

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inbound Coordinator to join our temn. The Inbound Coordinator is responsible for accurate and timely coordination of inbound purchase orders, systematic receiving, and destination transfers while helping to balance the operational schedule in the distribution center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the receipt of all inbound shipments and transfers into the warehouse, including all documentation, system updates, and internal and external communication
• Provide daily updates to operations and the shipping department on key inventory items
• Help reconcile inbound shipments to purchase orders
• Facilitate carrier operations and delivery appointments
• Maintain shipment histories and document files
• Oversee inventory compliance and work closely with our international team to provide proper documentation
• Work with suppliers to resolve overage/shortage & damage issues
• Update management on inbound freight metrics and on key performance indicators (KPI)

Requirements

•* High school diploma or GED required.

•* SAP experience a plus

•* 2-3 years logistics experience

•* Strong record-keeping skills

•* Strong MS Excel and Outlook knowledge

•* Ability to multi-task, respond to rapid change, organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
