The Opportunity:

We are seeking an In-Room Dining Server, an exciting opportunity to be part of Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Nashville!

An individual who can provide guests with a world-class In-Room Dining experience in the comfort and convenience of a guests' own room or suite. An ability to make a quick rapport, a talented eye for detail, and a smart intuition will make a successful candidate.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

• Check completed kitchen orders with the order taker or guest's original order and deliver food orders including any special needs or requests to the guest in-room

• Transport items to the guestroom in a timely manner while ensuring proper food quality

• Greet guests by name, describe selected items to the guest using interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item, origin, taste, and preparation methods; communicate options for removal of trays and dishware; respond to request for tray removal according to established time standards

• Breakdown, clean and set-up of room service tables, condiment set-ups, flatware, dishware, and room service side stations

• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests

• Properly and accurately close guest checks securing room number and signature; properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals

• Take guest orders in the absence of order taker

• Plate and prepare small food items

• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management

• Assist with service of food items

• Assist with set-up and cleaning of operational areas

• Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in areas of Food & Beverage when needed

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Preferred experience in a luxury hotel in food and beverage or related work

• Must be flexible with schedule - Able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, evening/overnight shifts

• Strong written and oral skills. Ability to communicate professionally and accurately

• Ability to multi-task in a high volume and demanding environment

• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to handle difficult situations and guests
