JCPenney In-Home Custom Window Treatments is looking for talented Design professionals to join our team. We currently have an exciting opportunity for an In-Home Decorator Consultant.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Experience: Provide a first class experience for every customer by helping with their window covering design needs and managing the customer experience through the order cycle.

  • Designers touch: Provide a decorators recommendation on In-Home Custom Window Treatments, including hard window coverings, soft window coverings (curtains/draperies), bedding, and other home treatments to achieve maximum sales volume.

  • Educate customers: Demonstrate knowledge of JCPenney In-Home Custom Window Coverings products and services, using this knowledge to build sales and customer base.

  • Build a customer base: Through lead generation, prospecting, networking, presentations, exceptional customer service, building relationships with existing customer, referrals, and communicating effectively.

Job Requirements:

As a Consultant you must enjoy meeting, interacting, and building relationships with customers. We are seeking goal-oriented team players who also work well independently and are able to handle multiple priorities and quickly learn new processes and procedures. You must demonstrate an enthusiastic and positive attitude while paying close attention to detail, design, and esthetic.

Other requirements of the role include:

  • At least 2 3 years of consultative sales, retail, or related experience

  • Design background or interior design degree, a plus

  • Knowledge of iPad, PC data input and internet navigation skills

  • Math acumen; ability to use calculator and measuring tape

  • Ability to manage a client base within a 60 mile radius of assigned store studio

  • Ability to handle physical requirements to accomplish daily responsibilities

  • Flexibility and dependability with schedules, including availability on nights and weekends

  • Local Travel required

  • Must have a reliable form of transportation

  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance

We are looking for a Financial Consultant to assist members of the credit union in reaching their financial goals. PRIMARY DUTIES: Respond to all referrals from others in the credit union to determine if non-deposit investment products can help them reach their goals. Analyze and evaluate the member's current financial situation and make recommendations that are aimed at reaching these goals, keeping experience, risk tolerance, age and tax bracket in mind at all time. Meet with all client members at least annually to determine if goals/situations have changed and adjust their holdings accordingly. Inform referrers of the actions taken with the members they have been referred. Contact prospects (and clients) in a timely manner so that they will know that their business is important to the credit union. Prepare and complete all paperwork in an accurate and timely fashion. Draft and submit all required reports/blotters in a timely manner per company standards. Recruit, offer, and facilitate seminars to educate our members. Develop, create, and provide formalized financial plans for appropriate situations tailored to the needs of the member Training- Completion of all required training and continued education to maintain license status and job knowledge. Work as a team member within the credit union and the division. Refer prospects back to the credit union for appropriate products. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. This individual must be an excellent communicator. Also needs a good knowledge of the financial markets and alternative products. Success in a like position prior to coming to the credit union is necessary. CFP or other advanced designation would be helpful.
