Helping Hands Home Care is a comprehensively licensed and locally owned caregiving agency offering a variety of personalized in-home care services for seniors and people with disabilities. We are looking for a dependable caregiver to care for our clients in a professional and compassionate manner. Care takes place in the client's home. One-to-one care can be very satisfying and rewarding, since people who are ill, injured, disabled or elderly are thankful for high quality assistance.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own
  • Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside
  • Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
  • Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
  • Do the clients shopping or accompany them when they shop
  • Help clients take prescribed medication (under RN direction)
  • Be a pleasant and supportive companion
  • Report any unusual incidents

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English clearly
  • Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
  • Have the heart for working with seniors
  • Be able to work in client's homes in one or more of the following locations: NW/SW Portland, Beaverton, Hillsboro, Forest Grove, Tigard, King City, Tualatin, Sherwood

Duties and Responsibilities * Perform foreclosure and legal activities while corresponding with customers, attorneys and investors/insurers. * Maintain accurate records of foreclosure and legal events and continues with follow up actions when required. * Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities - knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes. * Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual required or job-specific training. * Maintain a working knowledge of the Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other applicable regulations in relation to this position. * Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the Umpqua corporate culture in all actions and words. Takes personal initiative and is a positive example for others to emulate. Supervisory Responsibilities - None Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * High school diploma or GED required. * Bachelor's Degree in business, finance or equivalent preferred. * 2 years relevant experience foreclosure, bankruptcy or other legal experience strongly preferred. * Background and familiarity with mortgage documents and/or servicing preferred. * Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage internal and external customer relationships. * Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills * Proficiency with personal computers and related software packages such as Word and Excel, and other business machines. * Experience with Black Knight mortgage servicing software applications strongly preferred.
