In Home Care - Company Car - Full Time Cna/Nursing Assistant

Ho'okele is expanding its Vivia program and is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Nursing Assistant (NA) to join our amazing team of Vivia Caregivers. As a Vivia Caregiver, you will provide personalized care to clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Our caregivers play a critical role in the well-being of our clients, so we want to provide them the tools and support that allow them to fulfill that role. That's why our Vivia Caregivers are provided consistent full-time schedules, so they can reliably count on a consistent 40 hour work week and not have to worry about if, when, and where there will be working week to week. They work with a consistent panel of clients so they can build meaningful relationships with them They also get use of a company car so they can reliably travel to and from their clients' homes. And they are closely supported by our Vivia team leaders and schedulers, so there is always someone there to assist them. We want to make sure our Vivia Caregivers have the tools and environment to do what they do best...care for our seniors.

We are currently seeking 1 caregiver to mainly cover Kahului/Wailuku and possible surrounding areas

Our Vivia Caregivers are Certified Nursing Assistants and Nursing Assistants who:

• Earn $22 PER HOUR*
• Work FULL TIME positions
• Work 40 HOURS weekly
• Have CONSISTENT and STEADY SCHEDULES
• Are provided use of a COMPANY CAR
• Work DESIGNATED NEIGHBORHOOD(S)
• Work with a CONSISTENT GROUP OF CLIENTS
• WORK CLOSELY and are SUPPORTED by a designated team leader and scheduler.
• Receive up to a $500 SIGNING BONUS.

*Vivia Assistants earn $21/hour during the 90 day probationary period during which orientation and on the job training takes place and then increases to $22/hour after successful completion of that probationary period.

Responsibilities May Include:

• Provide personal care and homemaker assistance to clients, including tasks such as helping them with bathing, toileting, ambulation, grooming, and dressing
• Remind clients to take their medication and closely monitor their vital signs to ensure their well-being.
• Thoroughly document and promptly report any changes in clients' condition to the care team, ensuring their healthcare needs are met.
• Assist clients with meal planning, preparation, and feeding, taking into consideration their unique dietary needs and preferences.
• Provide light housekeeping tasks to create a clean and comfortable living environment for clients.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, establishing a positive and nurturing relationship that promotes their well-being.

Requirements

• Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Nursing Assistant (NA)
• Current Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide compassionate and person-centered care
• CPR and First-Aid Certification (in-person training required)
• Health Clearance / Physical Exam (within the past year)
• TB clearance (within the past year)
• COVID-19 vaccination or medical/religious exemption
• Comfortable with technology and smartphone usage
• High School Diploma or equivalent
