Located in Marysville, Ohio, Honda Trading America is searching for an Inventory Analyst. The goal of this role is to do the following:

• Support finished goods deliveries through the management of warehouse inventory.

• Complete slit patterns for shortages, spot buy requests, trials requests, and pre slits.

• Evaluate aged inventory metrics, warehouse performance, and supplier performance.

• Complete inventory reconciliations to tie out any unmatched system inventory data.

• Support inventory Account Representatives

At Honda, our associates take pride in their responsibilities. A typical day for an Inventory Analyst will include:

• Support sales teams with expediting issues, material claims, cross applications, and material processing

• Material analysis through inventory reconciliations and system analysis

• Pre plan for inventory requests through pre-slits and PCI list updates

• Support post inventory reconciliation and closing activities

• Support quarterly supplier meetings, and lead quarterly warehouse meetings

• Special project support (management reporting, data gathering, systems support, SAP testing, etc.)

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent related work experience)

• 3 months minimum relevant experience

• Experience with inventory management

• Customer service experience

• Knowledge of MS Office Suite

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Strong customer service skills

• Basic understanding of manufacturing demands / environment

• Basic knowledge of cost accounting
