Job Title: Import/Export Analyst

Import/Export Analyst

The primary function of this position is to oversee the ADI U.S. Import Compliance Program. Additionally, this role will be responsible for managing import/export data analysis and metrics reporting.

Core Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for U.S. Customs Brokers and U.S. CBP

  • Implement broker SOPs and establish KPIs

  • Conduct broker QBRs to review performance metrics and adherence to SOPs

  • Manage post entry compliance reviews and all post entry compliance activities

  • Drive the HTS classification strategy and establish global process continuity throughout the company

  • Maintain Import Compliance procedures

  • Conduct import compliance training for key associates

  • Coordinate with corporate finance and tax to ensure accuracy of import values

  • Oversee record-keeping program to ensure all import and export-related documentation is properly filed and maintained

  • Serve as an ACE Reports subject matter expert and maintain user access to the portal

  • Ensure timely resolution of all inbound delivery exceptions

  • Work with customs brokers to develop enhanced reporting capabilities

  • Support SAP/GTS activities such as EEI filing and Parts Database maintenance

  • Address Food & Drug Administration ("FDA"), Federal Communications Commission ("FCC") and other government agencies import requirements

  • Work closely with the Logistics and Supply Chain teams to proactively address import requirements for strategic initiatives and sourcing decisions

  • Assist in maintaining C-TPAT membership

  • Look for efficiency gains in import processes that simultaneously strengthen the compliance program

Education and Experience

  • A minimum of 3 5 years of experience in customs and international trade matters

  • Detailed knowledge of U.S. Customs rules including: classification, valuation, origin, recordkeeping, compliance monitoring and supply chain security developments

  • Experience with SAP/GTS

  • Licensed Customs Broker a plus


  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical abilities

  • Detail oriented with emphasis on following up in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills

  • Ability to influence others through demonstrated expertise

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce

  • Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State
