Workday's Consulting teams are driven by a passion for successful, reference customers on our oCHRO solutions. We're a diverse group of people, with an invaluable mix of experience and backgrounds, located across multiple locations within the region.

About the Role

We are looking for a hardworking, innovative, and collaborative Implementation Strategy Architect to join our team. You will be guiding our sales and delivery teams to deploy the current and emerging capabilities of our Learning & Talent products for Workday's largest and most complex customers. You will collaborate closely with the Workday product team on product issues and complex or emerging requirements. The candidate must be passionate about providing solutions with the next generation of product functionality in mind. Are you ready to be a game-changer and explore new possibilities?

The successful candidate will work with sales, product management, solutions marketing, solutions management, business development, customer success, and delivery to provide differentiated Workday solutions. You will help prospective customers and partners understand Workday's value and benefits, explain product capabilities and innovations, architect design and deployment strategies. You're an innovative problem solver who can quickly identify and understand issues and drive towards effective resolution!

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as the senior Workday representative for product and solution issues on large scale, complex deployments

  • Responsible for the high-level design and end-to-end solutions based upon product strategy and functionality and identify relevant mitigating strategies

  • Collaborate with product management in customer conversations to understand the strategic direction of our learning and talent solutions.

  • Identify design and deployment obstacles and opportunities to the product team and field readiness to optimize current functionality and influence future product roadmap for the Office of the CHRO - Talent Optimization.

  • Engage with program teams to incubate and launch new products and packaged solutions with product, sales and services to drive value for the office of the CHRO - Talent Optimization.

  • Champion Workday innovation in sales and deployment efforts

  • Partner with strategic services to improve the value customers get with Workday deployments

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years delivering large-scale consulting engagements with Workday Learning & Talent.
  • 5+ years Learning & Talent domain experience

Other Qualifications

  • Strong presentation skills with confidence facilitating customer workshops.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts, and tailor messages to the higher levels within an organization.

  • Ability to work independently and lead multiple customer projects simultaneously

  • Ability to travel up to 50% - globally (post-pandemic)

About the Team The Workday Solutions Enablement: Technology team focuses on the implementation of custom integrations and applications using Workday's platform technologies. These custom integrations and applications are built to extend Workday's Human Resources, Financial Management, and Student Information Systems, and to bridge those core applications with third-party applications and systems. About the Role The Integrations Implementation Strategy Architect works with the our most strategic integrations customers to craft, build and deploy custom integrations, connectors, and solutions. Additionally, the Integrations ISA uses these customer experiences to engage with our product teams to improve the integration platform for all! About You Basic Qualifications: * 2+ years experience implementing Workday solutions using Human Capital Management, Financial Management or Student Information Systems. * 2+ years experience crafting and delivering cloud integrations solutions end-to-end in a consulting role. Other Qualifications: * You will collaborate with product management in customer conversations to understand the strategic direction of our integration platform and articulate the product vision and advisory services for deployment teams. * You will funnel challenges, obstacles and opportunities to the product and field readiness teams in order to optimize current functionality and influence future product roadmap. * You will engage with program teams to incubate new products and packaged solutions in a collaborative manner with product, sales and services. * You'll lead discovery sessions with customer domain specialists across various technical and product areas to assemble requirements and deliver accurate design documentation. * You will build and review technical designs that are consistent, maintainable, flexible and efficient. * You will develop creative, scalable proof of concepts to address bespoke and sophisticated requirements. * You will provide counsel to our customers and partners on how to best integrate their internal and third-party solutions with Workday. * You'll provide technical mentorship and oversight on Workday's platforms, guiding on performance, scalability, and maintainability. * You will use your field experience and product expertise to support our pre-sales organization in talking with prospective customers. #LI-CM9 As a federal contractor, Workday is requiring all new hires to verify that they are fully-vaccinated against COVID-19 within 72 hours of beginning employment with Workday, consistent with applicable law.
