What does an Implementation Specialist do?
You will provide analysis and consultation to existing clients during implementations/conversions, to ensure satisfied clients. This role is meaningful to our organization as clients expect high quality assistance with all interactions with Fiserv, from the beginning of a project to the end. The best part of the job is working with the Clients and Fiserv Associates for a successful event. You will always be learning, as every Client event is an educational opportunity.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
You will lead or support all aspects of customer implementations
Diagnose, research and analyze customer issues and requests
You will define detailed project implementation plans
Prioritize and raise issues when needed, keeping customers informed of progress.
You will serve as the lead contact for daily customer interaction and implementation activities
Apply company implementation practices, document procedures, standards, configuration settings and sequences
You will coach and prepare customers for successful rollouts of the applications.
Identify gaps in functionality and work with product management to improve our products
You will develop, track and report key implementation progress metrics
Use industry best practices in organizational change management.
Build and update product and training documentation.
Bachelor's degree is required. Or prior Implementation Management experience for 7 years in lieu of college degree can be considered.
3+ years of professional experience as an Implementation Manager or equivalent position responsible for assisting clients with implementations
Hands-on experience working with external clients during project delivery and system training.
Excellent verbal and written communications.
Experience installing SaaS products and/or experience in an agile product development environment.
Experience developing process engineering (maps) and process mapping tools like Visio, Lucidchart
Experience in Banking, or Financial Services industry.
Excellent client-facing and interpersonal skills
Independent and fast learner.
Experience in delivering small to medium size projects within a matrixed organization environment.
Proven working experience in the Banking, or Financial Services industry
Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
PMP certification is a plus.
Cool under pressure, able to manage many details and priorities.
Attention to detail and dedication to high quality results
