The Implementation Project Manager translates opportunities presented by the Business Development group or Pharma Account Management group into business activities that satisfy the requirements of both external Pharma clients and internal partners. This position is a very critical component to the overall success of the Pharma Sales and Account Management team at Accredo and CuraScript SD. The implementation of new Pharma programs will leave our clients with lasting impressions as well as dictate the success of the Account Management team in maintaining that relationship. The Implementation Project Manager is ultimately responsible for making sure that all the requirements and needs of the client and internal business teams are met and balanced appropriately. The Implementation Project Manager will be expected to implement programs remotely across several business units that the team supports. This requires a moderate knowledge of the Specialty operations and systems of those multiple locations.

  • Take responsibility for implementation of new business or program enhancements and deliver on commitment.

  • Ensure smooth program setup by understanding and minimizing operational impact and managing risk through continuous communication and quick resolution of problems.

  • Meet with new and existing clients.

  • Facilitate implementations by conducting conference calls and meetings on processes and act as primary contact for client questions throughout the setup and thereafter as needed.

  • Act as a resource for other Accredo and CuraScript SD departments relative to Pharma programs.

  • Oversee/facilitate cross-functional work teams to define project scope and objectives, develop preliminary project plan and design.

  • Determines necessary resources and project timeline.

  • Review and track status of project and periodically report to management.

  • Balance customer needs versus Accredo and CuraScript SD capabilities using strategic, innovative and creative solutions.

  • Meet with clients and highlight the functionality and steer them toward standard and existing services and products.

  • Document processes and business requirements in a clear and concise manner to help facilitate operational, and reporting setup internally.

  • Demonstrate understanding of current processes and modifications needed to achieve client satisfaction.

  • Work with sales, payer and marketing to take new products and create operational procedures and processes for implementation and administration.

  • Identify opportunities to standardize, document and define procedures for new products and services.

  • Work cross functionally and at multiple levels both internally and externally with key stakeholders.

  • Communicate complex material succinctly and effectively to multiple audiences

  • Lead large cross-functional project teams including interfacing with partners from Operations, Product and Account Management, Business Development and Reporting

  • Build and develop key relationships across the enterprise to help build internal enthusiasm and momentum for project initiatives.

  • Help guide and influence decisions across all levels of the organization.

  • Represent Accredo/CuraScript SD/Evernorth at industry events and conferences as required.

  • Support and promote the company values through positive interactions with both internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis.

  • Other strategic business related projects as required.
