Position Title Implementation Manager

Position Summary

Responsible for all aspects of construction on Crown Castle sites. Conducts independent research, provides on-site management, and supervises Construction Managers.

Essential Job Functions

  • Supervise Construction Managers including hiring, coaching, goal determination and setting, performance reviews, termination, rewards determination, training/development and scheduling.

  • Oversee Service Delivery projects from conception to completion.

  • Responsible for identifying areas of process improvement and develop training resolution.

  • Ensure compliance with Crown Castle construction guidelines; including Punch Walk compliance, understanding of closing out jobs and projects within the Project Management Tool.

  • Support site development services through A&E drawing review and approval.

  • Coordinate and communicate activities with team members and other departments as needed.

  • Lead/support internal deployment meetings with team members to review the status of A&E drawing review and construction and closeout activities and implement changes as necessary to ensure timely project completion.

  • Provide guidance to construction managers regarding efficient management of workload.

  • Understand prevailing rates for all tower and ground work and ensure Crown Castle is receiving competitive rates for quality work.

  • Ensure all jobs are maintained in a project tracking system with complete accuracy.

  • Ensure accurate and complete files are maintained for projects and appropriate closeout documents are distributed in a timely manner in accordance with corporate and customer standards.

  • Ensure compliance with Crown Castle safety program and track monthly safety training.

  • Attend customer meetings outlining process/procedure requirements directly related to Crown Castle's construction management.


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • A valid driver's license required

Experience/Minimum Requirements

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of wireless construction management experience.

  • Two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred

Other Skills/Abilities

  • Strong computer skills
  • MS office and project management software knowledge
  • Advanced knowledge of construction management process

  • Advanced knowledge of site acquisition procedures, including regulatory and permitting process

  • Ability to read and understand A&E drawings

  • Ability to direct and diagnose work flow problems, critical paths and institute remedies

  • Customer service orientation with a strong problem solving approach - strong interpersonal skills

  • Thorough knowledge of telecommunications/wireless project management, asset management, tower maintenance, and property management

Organizational Relationship

Reports to: District Manager

Title(s) of direct reports (if applicable): Construction Manager

Working Conditions: Works in a normal office setting with no exposure to adverse environmental conditions 70% of the time. Required travel to management meetings and project sites with exposure to heavy equipment and environmental conditions 30% of the time, however, travel may increase to fulfill the essential job functions.

The implementation associate is responsible for consulting with project contacts and managing the maintenance implementation of complex electronic commerce products in a fast-paced environment. Functions include: * Coordinating the setup of customer maintenance implementations * Ensuring customer implementation data is accurately captured/recorded and systems are correctly installed * Updating and maintaining business requirements * Providing subject matter expertise and recommendations on product best fit * Working with key partners on project priority and scope * Coordinating appropriate meetings * Communicating status to project team and the customer * Proactively identifying and resolving problems/issues * Ensuring that project tasks are completed according to established timelines * Normal business hours, with the exception of off-hour availability as needed to support critical issue resolution or installations into production Requires detailed knowledge of complex treasury management products, services, and applications the customer is implementing, including data flows, basic database structure, technical environments, and security. This role also partners with various functional groups that support the product/service. This position also includes recommending enhancements to operational processes to ensure competitiveness, customer satisfaction, and/or improved efficiencies.
