Implementation Manager

The Implementation Manager plays a crucial role in managing the installation and on-going servicing of our systems. After the sale of a system is complete, the Implementation Manager works in conjunction with the Project Deployment Manager is the primary customer contact onsite during implementations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all project administrative activities of multiple simultaneous projects

  • Manage and report to various project budgets and timelines

  • Develop, and mentor Implementation Consultants and project team members

  • Provides input to IT strategic and tactical planning and high level staffing plans

  • Plan all aspects of complex software implementation projects and other assignments.

  • Manage project scope, forecast, resources, and deliverables within specified deadlines while continuously assessing the client's ability to change relative to the agreed scope

  • Work directly with the client project management team throughout all project phases

  • Conduct customer webinars related to Omnicell products

  • Proactively identify significant project risks, develop mitigation strategies, escalate to leadership, and implement approved mitigation steps

  • Provide internal and external project status reporting, ensuring all stakeholders receive the required level of detail.

  • Actively lead status meetings with the client and project team. Complete weekly reports for customer projects and internal updates

  • Review documentation and verify customer assets to provide reliable BI (Business Intelligence) to Sales, Operations and Service

Required Knowledge and

Skills:
  • Possess a wide product based knowledge, strong base in interfacing and databases

  • Ability to facilitate in-person and via webinar with a high level of learning effectiveness and satisfaction by participants

  • Strong negotiation/problem solving skills

  • Outstanding interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Detail-oriented, independent and able to adjust to changing priorities

  • Able to quickly learn new software and functionality of new products

  • Ability to work collaboratively and enjoy working in a fast-paced technical environment

  • Proven track record of success in managing multiple projects/multiple presentation deadlines at one time

  • Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently

  • Excellent skills with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Note: The selected individual must have a valid driver license with an acceptable driving record, be able to meet company's insurance coverage requirements and have their own vehicle in acceptable working condition.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associates degree at least 2 years of demonstrated project management work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree

  • 4+ years of demonstrate project management work experience in healthcare

  • Pharmacy or clinical operations work experience

  • Experience effectively presenting technical information to leadership

Working Conditions

  • Working across multiple time zones

  • 75% travel

  • Physical demands of the role include bending, sitting, lifting, standing and driving

Core Duties and Responsibilities We are seeking an ambitious, operationally focused and results-driven leader. As the Implementation Manager, you will directly impact client deliverables as the leader of implementation projects across your geography, encompassing clinic build-out, enrollment, education, and staff preparation. You will be responsible for all aspects of several implementations, including: Project Management: * Create detailed project plans based on statements of work negotiated with employer clients and meetings with project sponsors and resources. * Monitor project plans to track resource utilization and ensure that activities are proceeding on schedule and within budget parameters. * As defined in negotiated contracts, ensure that all program activities align with applicable requirements of client and any applicable laws. * Identify project risks and potential liabilities, and provide management recommendations where appropriate for the delivery of contingency plans and alternative execution methods. * Ensure that the customer service standards exceed expectations for client organizations. * Prepare and present project briefings for internal and external partners, as requested, related to various project activities. * Prepare progress and final reports for assigned projects, as required. Survey internal and external resources on the implementation process. * Coordinate required partner and project meetings, preparing agendas, coordinating logistical arrangements, preparing meeting materials, taking minutes and coordinating appropriate follow-up on meeting next steps. * Resolve issues related to client relations, governmental relations, project quality, project risk, and project safety. Cross-functional Team Leadership: * Work with internal teammates and external partners to evaluate the effectiveness and outcomes of assigned deliverables. * Work to clarify assignments and deliverables; mentor others in project management practices; manages integration of team members' work. * Model the values of the organization and be engaged with the mission and vision for transforming health care in America. Implementation Capabilities Development: * Identify standards and best practices for individual implementations and for managing multiple implementations simultaneously. * Use metrics and analysis to track performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and continuously implement enhancements to improve results. * Create a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Minimum Requirements (to be considered for this position): * Minimum of 5 years of successful project management experience. Degree in business or related field. MBA a plus. Work history of consistently executing multiple simultaneously projects on time, within budget and in accordance with quality standards. * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, managers, subcontractors and clients. * Superb time management, prioritization and organizational skills. * Detail oriented and dependable. * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. * Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. * Demonstrated experience in continuously improving processes to drive measurable outcomes. * Proficiency in use of a personal computer and software programs such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Knowledge of MS Project, and/or Salesforce preferred. * Demonstrates a high degree of client focus and attention to service. Preferred Requirements: * Healthcare industry experience preferred * Clinical background a plus * Experience with the real estate and construction process associated with setting up a large number of sites at once desirable.
