Job Summary

The Implementation Manager is responsible for the implementation of partners onto the BaaS (Banking as a Service) platform. They will be responsible for overseeing and leading the implementation project including finalizing the partner's product needs, developing project plans and ensuring that the implementations are completed on time, within budget and meet the partner's expectations.

As well, you may be involved in "prospect" meetings to provide assistance in scoping the project and outlining required timelines. Once the prospect client contracts with Green Dot, the Implementation Manager will be client-facing as the single point of contact for the partner through the implementation phase. They will work with internal stakeholders to development departmental project plans and ensure milestones are achieved. As well, you will be responsible for implementing a scope change control process and escalating issues as appropriate.

To be successful in this role, the Implementation Manager must have a strong understanding of the company and the different functions required to launch a partner. In addition, you need to possess a strong grasp of the operational and technical components of the company and have the ability to drive the project to completion.

Job Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate leadership in driving execution of implementation project with appropriate levels of urgency.

  • Be responsible for ensuring all departments maintain detailed project plans and execute against those plans within agreed upon timelines.

  • Collaborate with internal and partner teams to ensure compliance to all partner requirements and efficient implementation.

  • Implement scope change control process.

  • Escalate issues as identified to the appropriate level within Green Dot and/or the partner.

  • Develop processes and standardized procedures to allow highly scalable implementations.

  • Define and lock down project scope with Partners and internal stakeholders to reduce scope creep and ensure timelines are met.

  • Develop all processes and tools for customer implementation lifecycle and provide an efficient interface with Partner and all internal departments.

  • Works with the EPMO to ensure that project/department milestones are met and adhere to approved budgets.

  • Exhibit a professional demeanor, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency to achieve outcomes and exceed expectations

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Adavanced degree a plus

  • 3 years related job experience preferred

  • Ability to develop an implementation strategy which involves identifying tasks that need to be completed through a comprehensive project plan

  • Develop best practices to standardize and scale implementations

  • Ability to manage through and resolve challenging situations in a matrix organization

  • Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills; credibility with peers and executive-level interactions

  • Strong organizational skills
