Implementation Lead- OCM
6 month contract to hire- 2 positions
Start- 1-2 weeks (When background check complete)
The Implementation Lead (IL) is a member of a large team supporting the California counties in the transition to a new system. The new system is being developed using an agile approach, so counties are expected to receive functionality incrementally over a number of years.
The IL is responsible for participating in the development of tools and templates to support implementation activities, guiding assigned regions/counties through the implementation of new system functionality, and serving as a liaison between counties and the project team.
The ability to work effectively with a sizeable team, adapt in a rapidly changing environment, and present (including demonstrating system functionality) in front of groups are essential for this role.
The project is very visible given the agile development approach, the number of impacted users across the State, and the importance of the child welfare program.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Experience working on an Information Technology (IT) implementation project with a minimum of 3,000 users.
Organizational Change Management (OCM) experience for an IT implementation project with a minimum of 3,000 users is desired
Experience working on a statewide implementation, preferably in the State of California or with government field offices.
Health and Human Services implementations Services at either the county or state level is desired
