What you'll do:

PROS' Professional Services organization is looking for dynamic and passionate people to join our team! As a new Implementation Consultant, you will develop market leading skills that will launch your career in software and technology. PROS Implementation Consultants are trusted advisors combining configuration and business expertise to guide our customers through the process of software implementation to achieve value through improved digital selling capabilities. Implementation Consultants start their journey training in multiple software products before being placed on projects to support customers in various industries, including global implementations for some of the largest companies in the world. You will be part of a strong Professional Services organization that works together to ensure our customers' success and will support your career growth as you develop deep expertise.

A Day in the Life of an Implementation Consultant

• About the role:

• Configure software to meet customer requirements in accordance with solution designs and other best practices - this involves translating business requirements into configuration, troubleshooting issues, and testing configuration

• Meet with customers and internal teams to discuss status, plan work, understand requirements, resolve problems, and answer questions

• Support internal project processes to keep projects within scope, under budget, and on-time

• Document configuration and keep organized records of decisions made

• Demo configuration to customers and train users on capabilities of software

• Work with other experts at PROS to jointly troubleshoot issues

• Deliver configured software that facilitates customer success

• Support customers through project milestones, including kickoff, configuration verifications, and acceptance testing

• Contribute to internal initiatives outside your role to improve the organization and support the growth of your teammates

Required Qualifications

• About You:

The defining quality of successful Implementation Consultants is curiosity - you must be curious and have a desire to dig into business requirements and figure out the "why". You must have intrinsic motivation, you don't wait to be told how to do something, you figure it out. Additionally, you have an ability to blend configuration and customer-facing skills. This is a unique combination that allows you to communicate with customers to understand their needs, dive into the details of configuration to build a solution and present the configuration to a business l audience and explain how it will solve their problems.

We are looking for candidates who possess a rare combination of skills and characteristics. People successful in this role would be described in the following ways:

• Excellent communicator - comfortable forming relationships and communicating verbally and in writing with customers and internal teams; able to voice opinions, explain technical & non-technical concepts, listen effectively, timely escalate issues and potential risks, lead trainings, and project confidence in 1-on-1, group, and presentation settings.

• Quick learner - you can quickly pick up technical and business concepts. You take good notes, research what isn't clear and are eager to apply what you've learned.

• High performer - you want to succeed and can motivate yourself to overcome obstacles. You can perform successfully when working independently or with a team.

• Detail oriented - you care about the little things and want the quality of your work to reflect positively on you and your teammates.

• Organized - you don't need to be micromanaged; you're able to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and follow through on commitments.

• Helpful - you care about seeing others succeed and will invest your time and effort into helping our customers and your teammates.

• High character - you're honest and trustworthy, you treat others with respect and can be counted on to do the right thing.

• Able to travel to customer sites (typically ~25-50% but can vary).

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Problem solver - dig into issues and find the root cause

• Experience building and analyzing datasets

• Ability and desire to learn tools/languages such as: JavaScript, SQL, Linux, XML, or others

• 1 year of API integrations and Systems/IT is a plus

• Understanding of Pricing and/or Revenue Management

• Exposure to ERP and CRM concepts

• Spanish-speaking preferred (Portuguese a plus)
