Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Broadband Implementation Business Development Manager with a strong background in program management to oversee the successful deployment of broadband services in our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing the end-to-end implementation process, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of high-quality broadband services to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Program Management

oDevelop and execute comprehensive program plans for broadband implementation projects, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

oMonitor and track project progress, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion.

  • Broadband Infrastructure Planning

oCollaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and plan the deployment of broadband infrastructure, including fiber optics, wireless, and other relevant technologies.

oConduct feasibility studies and site assessments to determine the most effective implementation strategies.

  • Stakeholder Communication

oCommunicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, challenges, and milestones.

oAddress inquiries and concerns from customers, regulatory bodies, and community members.

  • Budget Management

oDevelop and manage budgets for broadband implementation projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal resource allocation.

oIdentify opportunities for cost savings without compromising project quality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

  • Proven experience in program management, particularly in broadband infrastructure deployment.

  • In-depth knowledge of broadband technologies, including fiber optics, wireless networks, and related equipment.

  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and permitting processes related to broadband implementation.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders.

  • Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) is preferred.

  • Familiarity with GIS (Geographic Information System) tools is an advantage

Preferred Experience

  • 5+ years customer facing interaction and problem-solving experience preferred.

  • Past team leadership experience preferred.

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in New York is $49,928.00 - $82,024.00 / year.
