Aspen Careers is working with a law firm in downtown Columbus on the following full-time, direct hire position.

Position Title - Business Immigration Paralegal

The Role You Will Play:

In addition to routine legal administrative duties you will:

• Prepare to file a wide range of non-immigrant visa applications (H-1B, E-3, TN, L-1, H-1B1, O-1, R-1, etc.).
• Work with attorneys and clients preparing a variety of different I-140 visa petitions (self-sponsored and employer-sponsored).
• Communicate with clients, both individual and corporate, as well as government agencies.
• Maintain calendars for assignments, schedule meetings and appointments; makes travel arrangements as needed.
• Create and maintain LawLogix database.

.Background Profile:

• Three + years of legal secretarial or paralegal experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills; ability to communicate clearly and accurately; professional appearance and demeanor.
