Dane Street is looking for highly motivated candidates to join our Account Management team in our New York market. Dane Street offers an exciting work environment, competitive compensation and a strong growth potential.

The Account Manager is in the center of our critical relationships with our clients, our technical team and our operations teams. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for generating revenue by identifying and developing new accounts. The position also involves growing Dane Street's market share within existing clients.

Individuals should possess the right balance of relationship-building skills and motivation to significantly impact Dane Street's sales growth targets within the local market.

Required Minimum Education/Experience:

  • 4-year College degree (BA/BS)

  • Auto OR Workers Compensation Claims experience (Required)

  • ME or Managed care sales experience is a plus

Description of Key Tasks and

  • Initiates sales process by scheduling appointments, making initial presentation and understanding account requirements.

  • Recommends new products and services by evaluating current product results and identifying needs to be filled.

  • Close sales by building rapport with potential account, explaining product and service capabilities and overcoming objections.

  • Accomplishes marketing and organization mission by completing and documenting related sales and account activities and results.

  • Updates job knowledge by participating in industry opportunities such as conferences and seminars.

  • Other duties as assigned dependent on the needs of the business.

Overview of Your Role Demonstrates awareness of member expectations and strives to fulfill and exceed those expectations though "WOW" member service. Provides day-to-day direction and onsite support for staff and for member escalations. Acts as a member consultant in regards to financial services, consumer loans, problem resolution, financial education, and referrals. Provides leadership for the branch and support of SEFCU's corporate culture. Job Specific Responsibilities * Supports the Branch Director to ensure the highest possible level of service to members, complying with all SEFCU Service Standards. * Responsible for the immediate resolution of those member complaints which are escalated. * Maintains proficiency in assessing member relationships for Wealth Management, Commercial, Mortgage, Insurance, etc. opportunities. * Provides direct, personal service to SEFCU members with specific emphasis on assigned high net worth members in personal banking program. * Acts as a liaison to the Performance Enhancement Group to support Talent and Resource Management. * Recognizes positive performance and motivates staff to achieve WOW service. * Acts as a role model for exceptional member service on a consistent basis. * Initiates corrective discipline through the Performance Enhancement Group when necessary. * Responsible for keeping staff morale high. * Coordinates staff huddles. * Encourages staff accountability and ownership behavior. * Encourages a team environment among all branch staff. * Responsible for assigned functions with all operational branch processes including dual control, security and branch opening/closing. * Maintains proficiency in all branch technical applications including: the MasterCard system, Fred, Internet, and has in-depth knowledge of the Fiserv DNA, Meridian Link, and other required systems. * Account responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Opening new accounts, including trust, DBA, Estate, organizational, etc. * Reconciling and researching member accounts to solve member issues as needed * Opening/closing Share Certificates/IRA's * Starting/stopping/interpreting payroll deductions and distribution * Tracking check orders * Accessing and interpreting ATM and MasterCard information * Closing existing accounts when requested * Loan officer responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Reviewing credit needs and making appropriate recommendations to members * Soliciting applications * Reviewing and approving's/declining all consumer loan products * Booking and disbursing all consumer loan products, including home equity * Makes decisions regarding exceptions to procedures and knows where to find answers in all situations. * Takes responsibility for maintenance/troubleshooting of all technical equipment specific to the branch of assignment such as biometric safe deposit boxes, coin machines, etc. * Provides authorization for certified checks and medallion signature guarantee/validation. * Serves as Notary Public. * Performs system overrides. * Demonstrates vigilance in detecting and reporting fraud or irregular activities. * Keeps the branch in an orderly and professional manner including the physical appearance of the office and surrounding grounds. * Responsible for placing currency orders, receiving and verifying Federal Reserve deliveries, preparing outgoing coin shipments, and for maintaining allowable branch cash limits and for ensuring that all end of day branch balancing steps are completed. * Along with the MSA, is responsible for ATM, TCR, and TCD settlement and replenishment/troubleshooting. * Demonstrates expert knowledge of Credit Union operations including policies, procedures, services, and regulations. * Seeks and maintains knowledge of current financial industry trends, practices, and regulations. * Performs duties of Member Specialist when needed. * Attends all appropriate job related external and in-house training provided by SEFCU. * Other duties as needed. Credentials, Experience and Skills * Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; plus three to four years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Must be a Notary Public. * Your ability to be bonded is required.
