What You Will Do
As an Associate with Wheaton Franciscan-WI, you will have the opportunity to perform a variety of radiographic procedures used in the diagnostic treatment of illness and injuries. Mayalso perform specialized imaging services.
Positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
Implements radiation protection and safety standards.
Prepares, performs and assists the physician in special/advanced procedures.
Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
What You Will Need
Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Advanced certification for Mammography or CT preferred; Advanced certification for MRI within 24 months of hire preferred. ARRT breast ultrasound certification preferred.
Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the state of Wisconsin obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
High School diploma required Graduation from a JRCERT approved School of Radiologic Technology preferred
