A full-service acute care facility serving the residents of Tracy for over 60 years, Sutter Tracy Community Hospital (STCH) has a total of 82 inpatient beds. STCH provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services including: a 24-hour emergency department, inpatient and ambulatory surgical services, endoscopy lab, intensive care, diagnostic imaging, laboratory and rehabilitation services including physical, speech and occupational therapy. STCH also has specialized care for Hemodialysis, Family Birthing Center, Continence Center and a Pain Management Center. The Imaging Technologist I performs imaging procedures and associated tasks with minimal supervision, within the scope of his/her certification, licensure and training, in accordance with physician's orders, historical information and hospital policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A technologist I has a combination of certifications and skills worth 5 to 8 points as determined by the Technologist Skill Set Grid, below.

VIEW JOBS 4/13/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-07-12T00:00 The Imaging Technologist III performs medical imaging procedures on patients of all ages under the general supervision of the Diagnostic Imaging Medical Director and/or Cardiology Medical Director, within the scope of his/her certification and demonstrated competency. This position may administer contrast materials in accordance with certification and established protocols. In addition, this position may also be required to assist with on-the-job training of new employees and students, to assist with quality assurance and process improvement measures, to support operational effectiveness by ordering or restocking supplies, cleaning equipment and other tasks as assigned. Imaging Technologists are required to collaborate with other technologists, care givers and staff members to provide high quality care in a safe and effective manner.
