Job Description:

Under direct supervision, the Imaging Technician is responsible for the timely and accurate posting; scanning; and indexing of new and pending claims, as well as the assignment of an analyst to new claims in the Administrative System.

  • Timely and accurately posts new claims in the Administrative System within established turnaround time

  • Uses identified process to assign an analyst to each new claim

  • Works collaboratively with Policy and Renewal Specialists to facilitate the accurate posting of claims

  • Assists in maintaining the manuals and job aids, as new procedures are developed and best practices are identified

  • Maintains an understanding of the different client relationships and the related posting requirements

  • Ensures complete and accurate scanning and indexing of new claim and pending claim documentation using the established indexing structure

  • Responsible for any valid indexing corrections on new and pending claim documentation

  • Complete tasks in a self sufficient manner, maintaining satisfactory production and accuracy guidelines

  • Maintains ERISA and HIPAA compliance

  • Assist with management and response to e-mails coming through the Claims e-mail account

  • Assist with management and response to e-mails coming through the AEB Worksite Claims e-mail account


  • Assist with Life Waiver of Premium scan requests, copy requests from Claims department

  • Assist with Call Center back up as needed

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education & Previous Experience Requirements

  • 1 year work experience required.

  • Ability to initiate and prioritize regular work duties and small projects, ability to multitask, be detail oriented, organized, and possess good time management skills

  • Good computer skills; proficient in PC environment, with basic skills in Excel, Word and email systems

  • Ability to use office equipment including fax machine, photocopier, printer, scanning and indexing systems

  • Ability to work professionally and effectively with co-workers, clients, claimants, vendors and others with whom DRMS does business

Physical Demands

  • Frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling

  • Ability to climb step stool to reach top shelves

  • Ability to lift and carry 30 lbs regularly and up to 52 lbs occasionally and over 53 lbs, with assistance infrequently

  • Required use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls

  • Must be able to reach and grasp with hands and arms

  • Required to operate standard office equipment such as a computer and phone

  • Frequently required to sit

  • Occasionally required to stand and walk

Our Equipment Maintenance Technicians are responsible for multiple activities in support of manufacturing. This position specifically will support the maintenance of Semiconductor Silicone Carbide and Silicon Epitaxial Equipment, processes and measurement tools. This position requires the individual to possess the ability and experience needed to effectively troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and perform preventative maintenance procedures on this highly specialized equipment. The Successful Candidate Will Have the Opportunity to… * Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for a variety of electromechanical and electro-pneumatic systems needed in the SiC Epi process, including but not limited to: Servo Motors and Controllers, Stepper Motors and Controllers, AC Motors and Controllers, DC Motors and Controllers, Solenoid Valves, Gate Valves, High Vacuum Isolation Valves, and Pneumatic Logic Circuits. * Plan and organize personal workflow to ensure completion in a timely matter so as to minimize loss of tool availability to manufacturing. * Collaborate with Operators and Engineers to identify problems and their solutions * Work in a clean room environment which requires the wearing of a smock, hood, booties, latex/nitrile gloves, and safety glasses. * Learn and apply required safety measures and protocol as required in a fast-paced, highly-controlled, industrial environment where chemicals, toxic gas, high voltage, and kinetic energy hazards exist. * Wear an airline respirator and occasionally use other PPE, including aprons, gauntlets, and full face masks. * Requirements: * At least 2 years of experience being a maintenance technician in the semiconductor industry required. Experience working directly with Silicon Carbide and Silicon Epitaxial Equipment preferred. * An Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technologies or Electromechanical Technologies or Military Equivalent, or other relevant equipment maintenance education/experience. * An interest in working on night shift, from 6pm-6am, 3 nights on/3 nights off. * The ability to stand for 75% of shift. * The flexibility to work outside of normal schedule, cross train, (learn more than one job or operation) and multi-task as needed.
