Job Posting Summary

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add an Imaging Supervisor to our Radiology Department at our Baptist ED Nassau Crossing, Located in Jacksonville, Florida. This Imaging Supervisor will be responsible for oversight of all imaging modalities and technical staff, they will act as positive role model/representative for department. This Imaging supervisor may be involved in direct patient care and must be competent in performing routine radiographic procedures and assure all staff is compliant with Employee Health and Risk Management mandatory education requirements.

Common duties include, but are not limited to: staff scheduling, daily operations oversight, customer service recovery, assurance of annual and emergency equipment service, and assurance of current team member and equipment licensure.

It is preferred that this Imaging Supervisor has 3-5 years of experience in the Imaging field as well as customer service experience, technologist experience, and has worked in a hospital setting.

As an Imaging Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

• Supervising technical and clerical staff.

• Acting as a positive role model/representative for department.

• Involved in direct patient care and competent in performing routine and special radiographic procedures.

• Lead department resource for PACs and EMR.

• Assuring staff is compliant with Employee Health and Risk Management mandatory education requirements.

• Identifies, prepares, administers, and documents medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state, and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy.
