Imagery Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Provide innovative and advanced operational imagery analysis support through soft copy exploitation functionalities. Leverage multiple sensing technologies to provide timely, accurate, complete, and structured image exploitation in 60 minutes or less. Collaborate across multiple sites and organizations to maximize the effectiveness of team contributions. Serve as a productive team member, collaborator, and professional colleague among a diverse staff. This position requires the ability to conduct full-time and shift work, including nights and weekends.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as an imagery analyst

  • Experience with GEOINT systems, including EO, SAR, and IR system capabilities

  • Knowledge of the intelligence community (IC) at the national level

  • Knowledge of national GEOINT architecture, tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination (TCPED) required

  • Knowledge of the following systems and software programs: REMOTEVIEW, IEC, IAE, NES or Cedallion, and common office software, including Microsoft PowerPoint presentations, Excel, and word processing

  • Knowledge of Structured Observation Management (SOM) reporting procedures, including STARE

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

  • Completion of a military service or client imagery analysis training program

Additional Qualifications:

  • Ability to interact with all levels of client and mission partners

  • Ability to be self-motivated and work independently and in a team environment

  • Possession of excellent interpersonal skills

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

  • BA or BS degree

Position Description: Join an exciting program and a highly talented team of subject matter experts / instructors leading the education and training of geospatial intelligence professionals. In this role, you will: * Deliver in-resident and distance learning instructional programs in accordance with course requirements. * Use instructional methods such as, guided discussions, lectures, demonstrations, small group exercises, seminars, workshops, and laboratories. * Use instructional technology, including but not limited to Blackboard. * Conduct assessment strategy in accordance with the course design, including instructor observation, testing, and grading. * Provide formal and informal student feedback. * Provide subject matter expertise in imagery analysis throughout the curriculum creation process, including content review and feedback to development staff. Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies: * Relevant instructional experience includes, but is not limited to, experience developing and delivering technical training and educational courses in academic, commercial, government, or industrial organizations. * Minimum (required) three (3) years relevant instructional experience. * Desired 4-year degree + 2 years' experience OR 5 years' relevant experience. * Possess documented experience within the last 36 months as an Imagery Analyst that has maintained and built tasking strategies, and analyzed and interpreted imagery. Must have analyzed the activities and interests of countries, regions, and non-state entities, as well as the impact of natural and man-made disasters. * Documented experience in multiple military- or intelligence-related identification and analysis work areas. * Demonstrated strong working knowledge of the following software packages Cedalion, and Remote View. The SME is required to have working knowledge of NGA, DoD, Federal, and Commercial data sources, standards, and models. * Demonstrated experience maintaining a database. * Demonstrated knowledge of the national imagery exploitation processes, policies, and intelligence production cycles. * Demonstrated fundamental knowledge of the principles and applications of geographic information systems, digital image processing systems, collections, and sensor phenomenology. * Demonstrated experience maintaining a database. * Demonstrated experience creating, editing, reviewing, and responding to Requests for Information. * May require documented experience directly supporting the NGA mission at a site external to customer base (e.g., OCO-related deployment, Disaster/Humanitarian Relief support, etc.) within the past 24 months. * TS/SCI (Polygraph desired).
