Imagery Analysis and Analytic Deployer/Trainer/Instructor

Key Role:

Deliver in-resident and distance learning instructional programs in accordance with course requirements. Use instructional methods, including guided discussions, lectures, demonstrations, small group exercises, seminars, workshops, and laboratories. Employ instructional technology in instruction and training, including Blackboard. Conduct assessment strategy in accordance with the course design, including instructor observation, testing, and grading and provide formal and informal student feedback. Provide subject matter expertise throughout the curriculum creation process, including content review and feedback to development staff. Teach instructional courses and apply experience with developing and delivering technical training and educational courses in academic, commercial, government, or industrial organizations. Leverage experience with GEOINT sciences, technology, and data science.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience as an instructor and trainer in GEOINT and one of the following areas: multiple military- or intelligence-related identification and analysis

  • Knowledge of GEOINT tradecraft and learning

  • Knowledge of Cedalion and Remote View software packages and NGA, DoD, federal, and commercial data sources, standards, and models

  • Knowledge of national imagery exploitation processes, policies, and intelligence production cycles

  • Knowledge of the principles and applications of geographic information systems, digital image processing systems, collections, and sensor phenomenology

  • Experience with Deployment Teaching Deployer Training Instructors, supporting a GEOINT mission within the past 24 months, and supporting the NGA mission at a site external to customer base, including OCO-related deployment, Disaster and Humanitarian Relief support within the past 24 months

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

Active TS/SCI clearance required; willingness to take a polygraph exam

  • BA or BS degree and 4 years of experience with instruction or 20+ years of experience in instruction with an intelligence customer in lieu of a Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience as an in-resident and distance learning instructor for a USG agency

  • MA or MS degree in Science

  • Course Instruction or Teaching Certification

Basic Qualifications: * Experience as an instructor/trainer in GEOINT and one of the following areas: geographic information science and technology, statistics, spatial thinking, remote sensing, intelligence issues and social and physical science to characterize events, discover relationships and trends, and produce geospatial products, application of GIS and analysis of geospatial data to solve intelligence problems related to DoD or the intelligence community, fundamental knowledge of the principles and applications of imagery interpretation, digital image processing systems, collections, and sensor phenomenology, ESRI GIS software and extensions and National Geospatial Agency (NGA), DoD, Federal, and Commercial data sources, standards, and models * Experience working in government operating environment with the intelligence community, DoD, NGA, Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG), and Allied System for Geospatial Intelligence (ASG) * Knowledge of GEOINT tradecraft and learning * Ability and to travel up to 50% * TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph * BA or BS degree and 4 years of experience with instruction or 20+ years of experience working as an instructor providing services to intelligence customer in lieu of a degree Additional Qualifications: * Experience as an in-resident and distance learning instructor for a USG agency * MS or MA degree * Course instruction or teaching certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
