Image Support Typist (data entry)


Keys a variety of information from imaged/scanned documents such as name and addresses, email addresses, check amounts, scan lines, credit cards, micr lines, mark sense and handprint keying.


  • Maintains confidentiality of CDS Global and its client's proprietary information.

  • Works under general supervision.

  • Performs basic NIS keying functions including, but not limited to: OCR, Check, Address, COFA, Mark Sense, Classification, Credit Card, Email, MICR, Offer, Hand Print, Correspondence, Credit Card Masking.

  • Handles basic keying transactions following standard processing procedures.

  • Displays sense of urgency with job responsibilities.

  • Adheres to work schedule and attendance policies.

  • Reacts professionally to changes while remaining productive.

  • Works in a fast paced, flexible, team environment.

  • Treats colleagues with respect; communicates with honesty and transparency, candor and directness.

  • Works in a cooperative and professional manner, with all levels of employees, vendors and/or clients.

  • Adheres to work schedule and attendance policies.

  • Reports to work station as directed by management.

  • Organizes tasks and resources to complete work and meet deadlines according to established departmental procedures.

  • Follows CDS Global ergonomic and safety policies.


  • Assumes additional responsibilities as requested (or required).

  • Perform functions in other departments as work load dictates.


  • High School or equivalent preferred.

  • Basic PC Knowledge and skills.

  • Basic verbal and written English communication skills.

  • Basic attention to detail skills

  • Problem solving skills.

  • Minimum Typing Requirement: 35 WPM.

  • 10key preferred.

  • Base wage = $11.50/hour


  • 2nd Shift = $.75/paid hour if 50% or more of scheduled hours occur between 4pm-12am on a regular and reoccurring basis.

  • Weekend Shift = $3.75/hour for hours worked between 3am Saturday to 11pm Sunday.

Signal Support Systems Specialists are responsible for integrating signal systems and networks; performing signal support functions and unit-level maintenance on authorized signal equipment; and installing, operating, and maintaining radio and data distribution systems. Advanced team members supervise and train other Soldiers; maintain and install signal support systems and terminal devices; provide technical assistance and training for automation and communications equipment; prepare maintenance and supply requests for unit-level signal support; and operate and perform preventative maintenance checks and services on assigned vehicles. Job Duties * Maintain radio and data distribution systems * Perform signal support functions and technical assistance for computer systems * Provide technical assistance and training for local area networks * Maintenance for equipment, terminal devices, assigned vehicles, and power generators Some of the Skills You'll Learn * Mechanical and electrical principles * Preventive maintenance procedures * Line installation and wiring techniques * Communication security policies and procedures Helpful Skills * Interest in working with electronic equipment * Interest in problem solving Through your training, you will develop the skills and experience to enjoy a civilian career with companies that produce communications and electronic equipment.
