Illustrator/Designer Emerging Brands
Fanatics is seeking passionate and driven individuals to spearhead our league initiatives to create professional designs and material that enhance apparel collections through visual storytelling. We seek designers with a strong understanding of brand identity, color, graphic design, and basic production art techniques.
Essential Job Functions
Responsible for designing creative graphic artwork for various licenses including (but not limited to) NASCAR, UFC, Harley-Davidson, Disney, Marvel with a strong focus on high-end, illustrative graphics
Must know which types of designs will work best for different decoration techniques such as: screen print, direct to garment, transfers, embroidery, etc.
Strong application of expert typography skills
Use knowledge about trends, consumer insights, new opportunities, and competition to influence your design aesthetic
Demonstrate expert-level knowledge of color theory, concept development and branding
Confidently share fresh perspectives that will enhance creativity and promote new ideas
Partner with the Operations team on new graphic placements and applications such as: foils, new inks, etc.
3-5 years of professional experience in a Graphic Designer/Illustrator position
(REQUIRED) Must provide a strong professional portfolio showcasing a wide range of design skills/abilities
Expert level knowledge using Illustrator and Photoshop
Advanced skills in typography
Strong knowledge of color theory and production art techniques
Intermediate level use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Familiarity working within project management systems
Working understanding of Screen Printing and Direct-To-Garment processes
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; should be able to deliver ideas and decisions in a professional manner
Must be detail oriented
Must be able to work effectively and cross-functionally across all teams and departments
Passion for great product and design.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes and competing agendas
Can manage projects individually or as a part of a team.
Results driven and solutions focused
Bachelor's Degree in Arts or a related field
Knowledgeable on Motorsports and racing a plus
Familiarity with peripheral Adobe programs such as Acrobat and InDesign
