Serve as part of the KBHC finance team at the Bendix HQ building in Elyria, Ohio, providing IFRS knowledge to drive the overall IFRS reporting and audit of the Knorr Brake Group in North America for a period of two years to full integration into the management reporting system in Knorr Bremse.
Guide KBHC in all matters relating to IFRS accounting and managing the transition from German and US GAAP to IFRS.
Coordinate the annual and quarterly IFRS financial statements with the existing teams.
Work closely with and monitor the work of our IFRS consultants in Germany and North America.
Work closely with the German Holding Company's Finance Department to ensure international compliance of the NA subsidiaries.
Guide the establishment the IFRS entries and calculations of the differences for the NA subsidiaries.
Assist in preparation of the consolidated IFRS Financials.
Strong managerial, communication, and analytical skills working across multiple locations, management levels and functions within the corporate environment.
Ability to work in matrix environment with parent companies for completion of work and projects.
Proficiency in Excel and an ERP system.
Ability to meet tight, multiple deadlines and handle various projects and tasks.
Bachelor's degree required, Accounting preferred
SAP a plus
Knowledge of US GAAP.
5+ years of accounting experience
3+ Years of IFRS experience
