Monday-Friday (7:30am-3:30pm - 40 hrs/wk.) This is a entry level position with a starting base pay rate: $14.63 with full benefit package.

The IEP Coordinator will provide administrative support to the daily functions of coordinating all administrative aspects of students Individual Education Program (IEP) and administrative support to team members.

New Story School is a private licensed academic school that provides special education support for children up to the age of 21 who have been diagnosed with autism or emotional/behavior disorders. Our multidisciplinary teams collaborate with families, school districts and community partners to empower children in overcoming challenges and creating new stories in their lives.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Manage the IEP process for all students, including but not limited to scheduling meetings and managing team members, parents/guardians, and LEA's
  • Manage documentation/timeline requirements to meet compliance standards and reporting.
  • Manage IEP Writer database, including but not limited to set up staff and update user access, perform data entry.
  • manage addendums and track compliance with special education deadlines for re-

evaluations.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Work Experience: Two years administrative/clerical experience (school experience is a plus)

Our multidisciplinary team collaborate with families, school districts and community partners to empower children in overcoming challenges and creating new stories in their lives.<br></p><p><strong>PERFECT OPPORTUNITY FOR SCHOOL SCHEDULE</strong></p> <p><strong>New Story </strong>is searching for a qualified <strong>Nurse LPN or RN </strong>to work 35 hours/week (7:45am-2:45pm), who will be responsible to oversee and implement the health program and provide nursing services in the school programs. The Nurse focuses on the needs of both the individual student and program setting and is responsible for the delivery of health services including the medication management program and advocating for the health right of children.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities and Duties:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with personnel, families, and other members of the team to develop an individualized health plan consistent with medical needs of the child as well as collect and ensure medical history, physical exams and vaccinations are current for students. </li> <li>Administer prescribed medications and monitor the effectiveness of the medications. </li> <li>Maintain medication administration records including, but not limited to, date and time administered, current count for all medications, date medications received, returned and destroyed medications.
