The Center for Autism and Developmental Disorders (CADD) Day Treatment Program provides integrated, intensive services for children and adolescents with autism or other developmental disorders with emotional or behavioral challenges that are not succeeding in their current school settings. Our goal is to provide an intensive treatment program that prepares a child to return to a less restrictive educational setting.
Our expert team of educators and clinicians work with both the child and family to stabilize behaviors and enhance educational functioning in school and at home.# This is a per diem position working 10 hours per week. # Position Summary Under the supervision of the Director of the Center for Autism and Developmental Disorders (CADD) Day Treatment Program and supported by the Special Education Administrator of the CADD Day Treatment Program, the IEP Coordinator will support the educational and clinical team in the development of appropriate and sound Individualized Educational Plans and during IEP meetings with sending school districts. He or she will also communicate with sending school districts to coordinate all information related to IEP#s. # Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) # Master#s degree in Special Education 5+ years of teaching experience Demonstrates knowledge of Maine Special Education law, Chapter 101 Special Education certification from the Maine Department of Education
