I&E Tech IV
Responsible for performing instrument and electrical repair and maintenance duties for pipeline, terminal, electrical instruments, and automated systems.
Understand and comply with company safety and environmental policies
Provide daily mentoring to junior level I&E technicians
Troubleshoot and repair analyzers, AC motor starters, VFD's and control circuits
Working knowledge of PSM/MOC/PHA processes
Coordinate PSM's by planning work, scheduling manpower, estimating costs, and documenting work and findings
Create I&E written procedures and uses discretion and judgement in resolving problems
Identify failures that indicate underlying problems, that need Root Cause Failure Analysis
As a safety-sensitive position, its required to be able to work weekends, on-call and holidays as needed.

A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Associate's degree in related field and 0-5 years' experience as an I&E Technician preferred
Current and valid driver's license
High Voltage experience
Completion of AC Motor Control and Electrical Safety course
Must have good verbal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with staff, management, customers and vendors.
Must be a detail oriented, self-starter and able to work with little supervision while maintaining goals/tasks.
Should have good PC skills to include all MS Office products.
Must possess sound reasoning skills and be able to multi-task and maintain focus while sometimes working in high pressure situations.
Advanced knowledge of computer applications and must have a strong understanding of technical concepts.
