We are currently looking for a:

Idlewild- Guest Experience Attendant

Roles & Responsibilities:

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Serve as a park ambassador by welcoming all guests with a friendly smile and inviting manner!

  • Smile and communicate with coworkers and guests

  • Assist guests with entering and exiting the park

  • Provide friendly assistance with guest questions about park resources and attractions

  • Assist groups with their reservations and ticketing

  • Collect pre-paid admissions, admit season pass holders, sell day-of admission

  • Conduct transactions while ensuring all payment procedures are followed

  • Maintain composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations

  • Elevate guest concerns to your supervisors in a courteous and prompt manner

  • Direct large groups to their respective pavilion or meeting spot

  • Distribute park maps, wristbands, schedules and marketing materials

  • Responsible to adhere to all applicable labor regulations and guidelines, including scheduled start and end time, break schedule and consecutive days worked

  • Support our park through other duties as assigned by your manager

Education and Experience: No minimum educational requirements

Languages: English

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 14 years of age on the date of applying

  • Must be able to speak and read the English language

  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work for your scheduled shift

  • Must work well with other team members and be able to interact with our guests in a fast-paced environment

  • Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with Idlewild and SoakZone guidelines

Requirements:

  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Must be able to work at least one (1) weekend day (Saturday, Sunday) per week throughout the operational season

  • Must be able to work at least three (3) days per week and at least 24 hours per week from June through August (Shifts are available starting in May and continue through October.)

Working Conditions:

  • Team Members are subject to a variety of weather conditions, including but not limited to: extreme heat, humidity, sun exposure, cold, and inclement weather.

  • Physical requirements include the ability to stand (for up to five hours at a time), walk long distances within the park, bend at the waist and knees and have repeated manual dexterity; the ability to carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds without assistance on a regular basis; and the ability to regularly reach above shoulder level
