Job Description
Job Summary:
Designs, implements, operates, and maintains the enterprise's on-premises and cloud-based authentication, authorization, and communication infrastructure.
Work is performed under general direction. Participates in determining objectives of assignment. Plans schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. Exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve objectives would normally have a serious effect upon the administration of the organization.

Administers the systems of one or more of the following IT Infrastructure areas:
IT Client Infrastructure
Directory Services
IT Collaboration Infrastructure
Microsoft Teams- The position will assist with cloud-based collaboration solutions such as Microsoft Teams. This may include architecture, security, administration (setup, configuration and upgrade), project and review of client needs.
Domain Registration and Domain Name Services: The position will assist with securing domain settings and ensuring domain name records are aligned with Teledyne policies and procedures. The position will be familiar with enterprise domain registration concepts and procedures.
IT Infrastructure Policy, Process and Standards

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in a related field and 3 - 5 years of directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills:
Intermediate knowledge and in-depth experience with the following:
Server/Storage
Windows Server O/S, MS Clustering, Certificates, etc…
Server Infrastructure Technologies
Virtualization technologies and associated concepts, such as performance monitoring.
Hybrid (cloud/onpremises) architecture
AntiVirus software and strategies, including troubleshooting techniques
Network
Thorough understanding of Internet technologies
Thorough understanding of Local and Wide Area Networking
LAN/WAN links
Routing Protocols
TCP/IP protocol suite
Application protocols
Network Security such as 802.1x
DHCP and DNS Architecture including split and reverse DNS
Network Firewalls and Load Balancers
Client Services
Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID services
Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange Server and Messaging Platforms including High Availability Models, Legal Retention, and Archiving
Services for Linux, Mac, and Windows clients
Single Sign On via ADFS, Duo, LDAP, SAML
Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online
Email security technologies including email gateways and DKIM, DMARC and SPF
Familiarity with desktop applications
Client-side virtualization technologies and associated concepts
LiquidFiles servers
MFA and Smartcard technologies
Automation
Powershell script development, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Able to utilize web API's
Understanding of basic HTML for reporting purposes
Familiar with SQL database concepts such as tables, joins, and views
Collaboration
Microsoft Unified Messaging
Microsoft Teams
Cloud-based conferencing
Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Office 365 Suite (i.e., OneDrive, Outlook, Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.)
Support ticketing systems, project management software, and change control methodologies and their importance to ITIL best practices
IT security concepts and best practices. Familiar with role-based permission assignment, tiered access, least privilege access, and password management concepts for users, admins, service, and other nonperson accounts
Full and ongoing knowledge of industry trends and best practices around IT infrastructure
Extensive PowerShell and automation knowledge
Active Directory Migration experience
(Nice-To-Have) Experience with Quest Migration and Active Roles software
