The Identity and Access Managers core function is to support the IT Security Manager in achieving the goals of the Identity and Access Management team. These goals are interrelated with the business goals of the company. Assignments at this level require both advance managerial and technical abilities. This position coordinates projects with their initiation, development, and solution of problems with the interdepartmental and interdivisional related systems. The Manager will use identity and access management knowledge and possess proven leadership abilities.
Strategy & Planning
Participate in the planning and design of application security architecture, under the direction of the IT Security Manager, where appropriate.
Develop security solutions that facilitate the companies strategic business needs.
Develop strategies to implement systems and infrastructure required to interface and integrate business activities within and between departments and divisions.
Develop proactive programs and policies to protect the information assets.
Provide leadership for special projects.
Lead the architecture and design of identity solutions for the enterprise in a highly complex environment with a blend of legacy and innovation platforms
Acquisition & Deployment
Provide security systems to support business goals of the company.
Implement security systems that have positive budgetary impact by reducing costs and increasing productivity.
Enhance the company's information assets by contributing to it's security, integrity, efficiency, availability, and accuracy.
Run/coordinate internal & external application vulnerability assessments and coordinate application penetration tests
Familiarity with conventional and/or leading edge technologies.
Interact with all levels of customers, users, and vendors, including executive management, technical personnel, and contractors.
Manage and provide direction for the application security team in support of business operations.
Lead, coach and help others learn knowledge or develop skills in a specific area.
Direct, delegate, empower, and motivate staff to successfully accomplish objectives, meet responsibilities, and complete tasks.
Conduct activities like staffing, performance and resource management, and strategic direction of the team.
Provide security analysis and consultation services for product, system and network architecture designs.
Assist with other projects as may be required to contribute to efficiency and effectiveness of the group.

Work outside the standard office 7.5 hour workday as required with on-call availability.
Formal Education & Certification
Knowledge & Experience
10 years IT experience.
4 years Supervisory experience or team responsibility.
2 years technical experience in identity management or related specialty ( Active Directory, Oracle Identity Management, single sign on tools)
Experience developing a Roadmap for identity management services, align effort accordingly
Familiarity with directory service such as Active Directory, Oracle Unified Directory, or customer identity and access management solutions.
Preferred experience with provisioning solutions such as Oracle Access Manager, Azure ADFS,
Preferred experience with SAML based authentication with tools such as Okta, Oracle Access Manager, and the F5
Preferred experience implementing authentication solutions for both cloud based implementations as well as on premise legacy applications.
Preferred experience managing multi factor authentication solutions such as Microsoft Authenticator, Entrust, or RSA authenticator
Preferred experience with Oracle database and Middleware technology as well as web application platforms
Project management experience essential (MSProject or similar tool experience preferred)
Fundamental experience generating activity status and metrics reports preferred
Experience creating and delivering performance appraisals preferred
Familiarity with budget planning and preparation preferred
Experience developing objectives and timelines to accomplish goals
